Our exploration will be approximately two hours, with a break and healthy snacks and tea available. Nisa Nature enjoys the benefit people derive from sharing her spontaneous songs from nature, which she calls, Nature Healing Songs (www.naturehealingsongs com). Her parents, followed by many beautiful teachers, including that of personal experience with Medicine Wheels, Earth Dances, Sacred Stone People lodges, and Vision Quests derived from the North American Indian traditions inform her teaching and view of our unity with the Natural World. Eventually, she was led to the ceremonies and wisdom of the Shamans of South America: the prayers, protections, despachos, and use of sacred plants. She brought her love of nature into her first love of poetry, obtaining a BA in English and Creative Writing from Oberlin College , and combining her love of poetry with movement in her MA in Education, specialization Dance from George Washington University . Her name “Nisa Nature,” is also the name of her character in her children’s show, Nisa Nature’s Adventures (www.nisanature.com). Nisa Nature’s Adventures was performed widely as a live show, and developed for TV. Coming soon is a New Nisa Nature’s Adventure, created with Shaman Manin Erixon-Stanford, entitled, Beam Me Over to the Amazon and the Andes.
